A Song in an Empty Theater Brought Back the Unfinished Story They Never Forgot.

Volunteers preparing a heritage theater heard a pianist practicing a melody known locally as "The Balcony Theme." A visitor in the lobby immediately recognized it.

She explained the tune had been written by her childhood friend, lost to contact after their school production closed years ago.
